Life is a gift from God. Our children, family, friends, neighbors, and strangers are all gifts to be savored. Although some days may be full of hardship and sadness, each breath, heartbeat, and thought illustrates the beautiful gift of life. Keep the positive memories of Lou alive and thank God for the blessings in your past, present, and future. There are some deeds that can not ever be repaid. Thank you Lou for everything you´ve done for my family. My brother Jay loved and respected you and Bonnie as we all do. May you Rest In Peace as you are loved and respected by many.

A great man, his character, loyalty and dedication shined constantly: His depth, wisdom, genuineness. His heart was in selfless service, from Army to MPDC and beyond. He was intolerant of wrong and went out to meet and confront it in deeds and not just words. Deed, not shallow he was and remains. reputation was a cop's cop and protected those around him. Bonnie is his mirror image. Others before self, and I am gladdened you are and were in his life Bonnie.

The first time in a long time we met for lunch in North Beach. What a great afternoon. Weeks later I am presented with the news.

Bonnie, I am sorry for your loss. Myself (FOP Federal Lodge 12 California State Trustee) and our President Chad Jones would see Lou every time we were in D.C. and when we were at many conventions. He will be missed but never forgotten.
