Lucy Nesmith Obituary
NESMITH LUCY BEATRICE NESMITH On Thursday, June 12, 2008, peacefully entered into eternal rest at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland. Mrs. Nesmith was the beloved mother of four children, Lemuel Nesmith, Jr., Alvin Nesmith, Christopher Nesmith and Rhonda Nesmith Crichlow; two daughters-in-law, Delores and Natalie Nesmith; one son-in-law, David Crichlow; cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren, Telena Nesmith, Terrance Nesmith, Marcell Nesmith, Kenneth Nesmith, Jason Nesmith, Crystal Nesmith-Murillo, Charise Nesmith, David Andrew Crichlow, Jr., and Joelle Crichlow; and proud great-grandmother of six great-grandchildren, Kyrie, Mekhei, Isaiah, Jiyha, Keon, and Damar. She is also survived by four siblings, Alice, Otis, Ruth, and William Brooks; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 10 a.m. for the viewing and 11 a.m. for the funeral service at The Way of the Cross Church of Christ, 819 D. Street NE, Washington DC. Interment immediately following the service at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Suitland, Maryland. Services entrusted to BONNETT & ASSOCIATES, 202-269-6220.
