Born on May 10, 1916 in Leeman, Wisconsin, a retired Army Warrant Officer, Technical Writer, small arms expert and Curator at the National Rifle Association, died at age 89, on April 16, 2006. Mr. Olson authored and co-authored books on the German Mauser and Krag military bolt- action rifles.
Mr. Olson is survived by his two sons, Robert and Ralph Olson; and two grandchildren, Christopher and Eric Olson.
Funeral ceremonies were held at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery.
