MAJEED ABED Obituary
Majeed Abed "Mike" (Age 66)
An Oakton, Virginia engineer, entrepreneur, and businessman, founder and CEO of Cleaner4Less, passed away in a northern Virginia hospital on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He was the proud and loving father of Ashley, Jeffrey, Lindsey, and Madison Abed, stepfather of Kimberley Moltzer; and grandfather of her four children, all of whom, along with his former wife Susan Abed, survive him. He is also survived by his loving siblings Najat Kafity, Nuhad Zacharia, Naila Asali, Wadad Abed, and Bassam Abed, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Khalil and Wadia Abed, and his sister Rudaina Melhem. Majeed was born in Nablus, Palestine and immigrated to the US with his family while a teenager. He earned a B.S in electrical and electronic engineering from Penn State and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He lived in Colorado and California before settling with his family in Oakton. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

I learned of his passing from his good friend in highschool, classmate James Price. It was good to read that his life after hs fulfilled the promise he showed back then. Condolences to his family and friends who have lost his presence on earth so soon.

Majeed ,my youngest brother was every thing to me I always shared my parents concern about him ,the 1967 crisis when he was stranded with me in Beirut ,then his transition to a different culture at an early stage different from the protective nature of ours in a conservative life,but Majeed proved himself to be the young man of intelligence and stature.
How much I’m going to miss you ,the thought of you being gone is still in denial.You and Sue produced the most beautiful children they were your pride ,they understood and respected our back which we are proud of with their good and caring manners they were awesome.Majeed your children will carry the torch of love and caring ,a family bond will be your legacy .
Sleep in peace no more medications and business worry ,you did your role in life a big part of it with your wife Sue and now it’s time to rest,you will be in our hearts always as well as your family .
