I don't quite have the words to express my sorrow. With all that's gone on I didn't get the chance to know the beautiful young woman that everyone speaks so highly of. However the strength of my faith in Christ Jesus let's me know I will see you again so it's not goodbye but till we meet again.
All my love,

Vicky and Lynette - God Bless you both. If you can find any comfort from this, it's that Makeeya is free from any pain or hurt and safe with God forever.

Makeeya,
As you know, we only saw each other twice. But there was something about you that made me feel comfortable. Little did I know, that you would spend eternity with my son. Thank you from my heart for the joy you brought to his life.
Peace and love always

To Vicki/Family members:
My heart was broken when I heard about your daughter. Although I never had the chance to meet you or her, I had the pleasure of talking to you both over the phone. I'm sorry to hear about your daughter but remember she's in a better place when she's in God's hands.
If we put our problems in God's hand, There is nothing we need to understand. It is enough to just believe that what we will receive.
God's kindness is ever aroud you, Always ready to freely impart strength to your faltering spirit, and cheer to your lonely heart.
My love to you, your family, and Godmother Lynette.

To The Prather/Johnson Family & to Godmother Lynette Johnson: There are no words that can wipe away the hurt that I know you're experiencing right now. However,
may you find comfort in knowing that "weeping endureth but a night...then joy will come in the morning. These words might not make sense to you right now, but you'll know what I mean as time goes by. God bless you Vicki. Rest assured that I'm here if you need me.
Love you,
Carolyn

Makeeya I was so honored when you and your mom told me that I could be your god mother. I proudly wore that badge of honor. I will never forget how your mom and I had to buy big jars of gel for you almost every week, so you could keep that hair tight. It was so funny watching you smoothe the sides down with gel. You would do this every 15 to 20min. a day. You had so much gel caked in your head :) Also, another moment that I will never forget is when there was a tornado warning and you and I grabbed a jug of water, juice and a bag of doritos and hid in the closet:) If I could tell you one thing right now, it would be that..."I LOVE YOU" and I always will. You will forever be in my heart honey. I will miss you until the day that I leave this earth. :( Rest in peace!!!!
Your Godmom,
Lynette or as you called me Nette!

I had the opportunity to meet this young lady one time. However, I thank God that our paths crossed - even if for a short period of time. I pray peace and resolve into the lives of those she left behind.
