Manuel Armada Asesor (Age 90)
Mr. Manuel Asesor was called home to our Lord on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 90, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital. He was born on June 23, 1933 in Janiuay, Iloilo, Philippines. He immigrated to the United States on July 15, 1979, arriving in Sioux City, IA. In the summer of 2007, He and his moved to Alexandria, Virginia, to be closer to their three young granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his father, Primo Asesor; his mother, Presentacion Asesor; his sister, Josefina Asesor; and his beloved wife, Flor Mata Asesor.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brother, Mr. Ruperto Asesor of Janiuay, Iloilo, Philippines; sister Dr. Consejo (Rafael) Genuino of Alexandria, Virginia; sister, Ms. Maria Asesor of Alexandria, Virginia; daughter, Nouella (Allen) Hausman of Onawa, Iowa, sons Florouel (Candy) Asesor of Alexandria, Virginia and Carlo Asesor of Sunnyvale, Texas; five grandchildren, LCdr. Corey (Paige) Hausman of Bellevue, Nebraska, Brittany (Cody) Aughton of Bloomington, IL, Anna Asesor of Richmond, Virginia, Christina and Gabriella Asesor of Alexandria, Virginia; five great-grandchildren, Griffin, Anderson, and Rowan Hausman of Bellevue, Nebraska, Landry and Maeve Aughton of Bloomington, Illinois; numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, great-grand-nephews and great-grand-nieces.
The family will receive family and friends for visitation from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2023, at Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314. A Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2023, at 12 p.m. at Saint Louis Catholic Church, 2907 Popkins Lane, Alexandria, VA 22306.
