MANUEL E. LAW
Manuel "Manny" E. Law, 24, of Falls Church, Virginia, died unexpectedly on January 5, 2015, as a result of congenital heart failure. He was born in Alexandria, Virginia, on August 18, 1990, the son of Leticia (Bernot) Law, Robert Law, Jose Guilermo Ordorica, and brother of Billy Law. He was a former student at St. James Catholic School in Falls Church; a graduate from McLean High School and the Escuela Argentina of Washington; and a current student at Northern Virginia Community College where he was completing a degree in architectural landscaping. As an avid environmentalist and lover of God's creations, Manny had planned to apply his knowledge to the protection of the environment and the maintenance of habitats for wildlife. Manny was an accomplished skateboarder. His passion for skateboarding, coupled with his personal warmth, his genuine care and concern for others, and his natural charm and charisma, allowed him to build strong and lasting friendships around the world. In addition to his immediate family, Manny is survived by his maternal grandmother, Doris Andres Jinesta; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He also leaves his dogs Gremlin and Yesca. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, 905 Park Avenue, Falls Church, Virginia. Interment private. Arrangements by Advent Funeral Services, 703-241-7402.

I knew Manuel since he was a little baby. I always felt very attracted by him. I remember I could not take my eyes off him… It was not only his beauty, he had that spark that only some people have and that makes you realise he was a very special human being.
What impressed me the most since the first time I saw him were three things:
His deep infinite look is spite of being just a baby, his wildness and fearless character (the first time I saw him he was a roller coaster who liked to bite everything!) and above all his huge generosity. I remember once when he was only one year old and he was deeply concerned that everybody was eating but not my son, who was at that time just some months old, so he was very preoccupied that he also got proper food just as anybody else.
I think those features were with him during his whole life. Those features made him stand out from the crowd. It is my humble opinion but I do think that most of his achievements and sufferings were due to these features of him.
There are no words to express how depleted we all feel after knowing he is no longer with us. My whole family is devastated.
Manuel was the kind of person that through his path in this world left indelible traces in our memory, in our retina and in our life and this is due to the fact that he himself gave us in shreds of himself.
