There will never be words to describe the sorrow in my heart for the loss of my most cherished and precious friend. Marc was the most extraordinary and unique person I have ever known. He was intelligent, gifted, kind, loyal, considerate, compassionate, humorous...the list goes on and on. He was, in my eyes, the "complete man."
I clearly remember the first time I met Marc at EuroTech MotorSports, and I have vivid memories of the many, many visits and conversations we shared thereafter. My prayer is that I never lose that clarity of memory.
Shortly after meeting Marc he rescued me by opening my car when the keys were locked inside. He told me he was my "Knight in Shining Armor." My response was,"I've been looking for you all my life!" He refused to let me pay for his services, so I bought him a milkshake. He acted like I had paid him with $1million. He was just that kind of guy.
To Marc and Chris, your father loved you without bounds and without conditions. Those piercing blue eyes twinkled when he spoke of you. He was so very very proud of you both. I shall steal glimpses of you as time goes by, for in you I will see him.
To many, he was a FRIEND.
To his sons, a FATHER.
To me, my KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR.
