MARCUS ARBAN Obituary
MARCUS FRANCIS ARBAN
Marcus "Mark" Francis Arban, age 85, of Fairfax Station and most recently Alexandria, VA, passed away on August 22, 2021 in Alexandria. Mark was born in Washington, DC to Peter Arban and Rose Pettinato. He graduated from Archbishop Carroll High School. He married Joan M. Bright on May 10, 1958 in Washington, DC. Mark earned a degree in Business from Georgetown University and owned Arban Precast Stone for over 50 years. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Rose, brother, Peter Jr., and beloved son, Mark Jr. Mark is survived by his wife of 63 years, Joan; daughters, Carla (Steve) Peluso and Leah (Allen) Macey; sister, Rita Spring; and grandchildren, Christine, Rachel, Alexander, and Jonathan Macey and Samantha and Michael Peluso. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Demaine Funeral Home in Springfield, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Saint Mary of Sorrows in Fairfax, VA.

Dear Family, We live in Simpsonville, SC. We had no news from any in our family of Mark's passing. So sorry for you all. A kids Mark w3as my idol, such a cool cousin. I am 80 now. Mark & Rita are the only links to any Pettinato - Arban family. We are proud of Mark and wish you all will know Jesus as our Savior, in the way I know Him. We will all be together in Paradise in a short while. May He bless you as He has blessed me.

Joan and Family, We are saddened by the passing of Mark. I always enjoyed his conversations and his knowledge of the industry as well as the history of it and his knowledge of the world. He was a true lover of his dogs and we can envision how happy they are now that he has joined them. God Bless him and your wonderful family.
