MARGARET ROVER McMANUS
On May 3, 2013, MARGARET ROVER McMANUS of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved wife of the late Edwin P. McManus. Survived by her son, Pete McManus (Helen); daughters, Anne Parker (John), Jeanne McManus (David Stang) and Mary McManus; sister, Marita Frank (Bill); grandsons, Tom and Nick Parker and Jonathan Stang. Friends and relatives are invited to pay respects on Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, 5130 Wisconsin Ave., NW at Harrison St. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Western Ave. at Quesada St., NW, followed immediately by interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1330 Bladensburg Rd., NE. Washington, DC. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 4200 Harewood Rd., Washington, DC 20017, www.littlesistersofthepoorwashingtondc.org. We had the privilege to meet Peggy just 2 weeks ago, when she graciously welcomed my sister and me into her home, and answered some questions we had about my grandfather. Her smile touched your soul...what an elegant lady. I know she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Denis Connell's granddaughter, Kathy.
