MARGARET JEAN YOUNG (nee Baggett) March 3, 1938 ~ January 18, 2017
Passed away on January 18, 2017 at the age of 78 in Pittsboro, NC. Jean was the loving mother of Ray and John Vanderslice and was beloved by many for her kindness, generosity and spunky zest for life. A long-time resident of Maryland, Jean founded an award-winning technology public relations agency in Washington, DC in 1982 that continues to carry on her professional legacy today. Through this, Jean had a profound impact on the careers of hundreds of professionals, particularly women. A private gathering of life celebration is currently being planned in Jean's honor. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to a charity of choice in Jean's memory.
