Marilyn Hardin Obituary
HARDIN MARILYN EILEEN HARDIN (Age 86) Of Oxon Hill, MD, joined our Lord on Saturday, August 28, 2010. The beloved wife of Grover C. "Buck" Hardin; mother of Robin Lee Hardin and his wife Jane, of Modesto, CA, Jon Andre Hardin of Oxon Hill, MD and Rhonda Stiver of Reston, VA. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Jennifer Hardin and Amy Stiver. Marilyn was born in Jackson, Michigan, received a BA from Michigan State Univ. and also served in the Navy as a control tower operator. Later in life she was a Media Aide working at Oxon Hill High School Library. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Her services will be held on Thursday, September 2, at 11:30 a.m. with interment at 1 p.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD. We will miss her dearly, and will keep her with us through our vast collection of fond memories and pictures, until we meet again.
