Dear Linda McHenry and the Family of Marion Best,
My very deepest condolences for your loss of Aunt Marion--one phenomenal lady! Aunt Marion was many things to many people.
What I will cherish most about Aunt Marion are her keen intellect and quick wit, and the playful way in which each often informed the other. No one could light up a room with as many pearls of wisdom, and such joy and laughter as Aunt Marion! And her humanity was simply incomparable--particularly towards those less fortunate.
With dignity and grace, Aunt Marion embraced and lived life to the fullest. What a role model! And while, it is true that she was my "Honorary Aunt," it is also a fact that Aunt Marion was my true friend. "Farewell, My Friend!"
With sympathy and love,
Lisa
