On June 30, 2002, from complications following a stroke. Survivors include four children, Marjorie Ann Morris, Betsy McCorkle, Jon Morris and Larry Nerenberg; three stepchildren, Karen Durfee, Jim McIlvaine and Don McIlvaine; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Shreve; one niece, four nephews, a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service is being planned for next spring. Memorial donations may be made to Recording Service for the Visually Handicapped, PO Box 610, Falls Church, VA 22040, where she volunteered as a reader.
