Mr. Kilfeather

Was a father to all he knew. What a great man. I am glad I had the oppurtunity to have him in my life.

Marty was a “best” friend going back to our college years in the 1950s. His beautiful wife Jeanne, also a best friend, attended the same college and they were married soon after graduation. We maintained our friendship ever since. Marty could always be counted on for help and advice if it was ever needed. And I did need it from time to time. Marty had great leadership qualities, courage, integrity, a positive attitude, a generous and caring spirit and also a keen sense of humor. When my wife and I visited Marty and Jeanne at their home not long ago, I enjoyed giving their two lively dogs some treats. So during one of our frequent phone conversations later I happened to ask Marty if the dogs missed me. “Only at dinner,” he said. I will miss my good friend.

Marty was a great friend and co-worker. He always treated everyone with dignity. May he rest in the peace of our Risen Lord.
