Hard to believe that over 70 years ago Martin (Ginger) and Lois got married on the same day as Bill Kaufman and Iris Picovsky did. We 4 were great friends for many years. . . a lasting love.

Dear Lois,
As time goes by and memories fade, some remarkable things always remain. You, Ginger, Bill and I became close friends in Pittsburgh. And our friendship grew stronger as years went by. Now, the home you two made in Santa Fe has proved a link with our daughter Emily whose home is in that same beautiful city. Bill and I don't travel now that he is 91 and I am 88. But we wish we could be with you again and talk over old times. We remember Ginger's great friendships and send our love to you and your family on this day and always.

Lois dear, Bill and I have been friends of yours and Ginger's for so long that we remember going to his 21st birthday party in Pittsburgh. And then, as some time went by, we asked both of you to be in our wedding party. That plan fell through when you two decided to marry on June 21, 1953, the same day that Bill and I got married. All four of us chose the right partners and we can only imagine the loss you and your family feel now. We send our love and our sympathy to you, your children and your grandson.
