I met Marvin around 2018 walking his two lovely dogs in his neighborhood. We talked and shared stories. I was so happy when I would see him with his pets that it made my day. I sure do miss seeing him. I'm glad I got to do photo of him with his 2 pets and gave it to him framed.
Rest in peace my friend.
Chas.

I just recently found out about Marvin's passing. I knew he had fallen and not been out, but didn't know he had passed. I lived a street over from him and met him many years ago while walking my dogs and Marvin was walking his. He was one of the kindest people, always had a kind word for me when we saw eachother on our walks. He was kind to me and my kids and we will all miss him.

I am a distant cousin of Marvin. My name is Ronald Howard Lautzenheiser. Son of Howard and grandson of Theodore Lautzenheiser. Great grandson of Levi Lautzenheiser. I´ve been an avid follower of Marvin and have greatly appreciated the genealogy work he did on our family. Thank you Marvin. You´ll be missed greatly.

Marvin was the first person to hire me when I began my career with computers. I was very lucky to work with Marvin during those early years. A kind-hearted man with great ideas and extreme intelligence. I had been in touch with him until a few days before he passed. May he rest in peace.
