Mary Ellen Bouchard

On Friday, January 12, Mary Ellen Bouchard, a long-time resident of Arlington, VA, passed away. She was seventy years old. Raised in Windsor Locks, CT, Mary Ellen earned her BSN from Northeastern University. When a colleague mentioned that she would be a good midwife, Mary Ellen pursued a master's degree in nurse midwifery at Georgetown University. She was passionate about pregnancy and women's health care. She dedicated the next thirty-plus years to the career that she loved.
Visitation January 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Leete Stevens Enfield Chapels; Funeral Mass January 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church. For full obituary, please visit www.leetestevens.com.

Mary Ellen was such a wonderful neighbor! She always made time to come over and compliment me on my garden, ask after the family, or talk about the Red Sox with Kyle! She was also a woman of such integrity. She lived out her faith so consistently and humbly. She was a true inspiration and I know she is at rest with her Lord.
