MARY COLBERT Obituary
Mary Edna (Proctor) Colbert "Edna" (Age 89)
Passed peacefully on May 3, 2019, at her home in Washington, DC after a brief illness. Born on February 14, 1930 to Elizabeth D. (Harley) and Robert L. Proctor. Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years William Albert Colbert, Jr., five sisters and three brothers. Beloved mother of Jacqueline, Reginald (Joanne), Everett, Joyce Colbert Elliott, Sharon, Carlton and Derrick (Kecia). Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren, two brothers, Leo (Lottie) Proctor and Maurice (Barbara) Proctor, brother-in-law, Joseph Campbell and sister-in-law, Shirley Proctor. A special devoted friend Thomas Watkins and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Colbert will lie in state on May 14, 2019, at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 4925 East Capital St. SE, Washington, DC from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Interment will be May 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Quantico National Cemetery.
