Yesterday

I worked at the Social Security Administration for over 41 years. In the late 1960s when Mary Alyce worked for Rep Edward Roush, we were in touch almost daily about Social Security problem cases. I was in a unit where we could get quick answers and action to help constituents. I also was able to meet Mary Alyce on a few occasions to figure out how to better serve the constituents. At one point she was or invaluable assistance in working with the State Dept to assist me in getting my cousins Korean wife to come to the US. She was a true and gracious public servant and I was privileged to be her friend. When I saw her obit in the paper this morning I was saddened but flooded with wonderful memories. May the Lord bless and receive a truly gifted friend. Blessings to her family. I have not been in touch for many, many years but remember her like it was yesterday.
