Mary Duarte Obituary
She worked as a medical secretary and volunteered at the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. A faithful member of St. Mark's Baptist Church for 40+ years serving on the Senior Usher Board, various ministries and Superintendent of Sunday School.
Ms. Duarte will lie in state on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at St. Mark's Baptist Church, 624 Underwood Street, NW, WDC, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., where she will receive the final ICUA's tribute, followed by a celebration service to honor her life. Final resting place at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Susan G.
