Mary Barbara was so wise and loving, and very funny. Our lives intersected several times over the years, and I was always a better person for it.

I always have loved Mary Padgett. Working as her colleague @ Montgomery College Nursing Dep't. for many years, Mary was Professor Extraordinaire of Psychiatric Nursing and I was very into being a Professor of Medical-Surgical Nursing. Loved her sense of humor, acumen and caring. Mary was always highly respected and very into the success of her students and the program. I enjoyed her friendship and have wonderful memories of fun gatherings @ the Padgett residence both personal and professional.Mary always spoke of Lauren and Phil with such love. It makes me very sad that she faced so many difficult health issues. I am happy that I got to see Mary and Phil twice since I moved to San Diego but I am sorry that I was not more of a support to her these last few years.

Dear Mary, may you rest in peace and know that you made a positive difference in the lives of so many people.

Forever,
Trudy Cohen
