My condolences to the entire Peet family. I will always have memories of growing up down the street from a house that the door was always open. Mrs. Peet always made me feel welcomed even though I'm sure I drove her crazy with my many in's and out's of that front door. May she rest in peace.
With Sympathy, Toby Hyder

So sorry to the Peet family. I met her son Joe on Facebook. My Classmates from Forest Knolls Elementary school remember him better than I but I too was at the camp he was working or volunteering at. To raise such a caring son to do that for the physically challenged, his mom must have been so caring and raised her children well. RIP Mary Peet. Prayers go out to the Peet family to know she is no longer struggling.

Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years. May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Aunt Mary Carol. I remember you so well. The time when you had back surgery and I stayed with your family for two weeks helping out with Ellen and Joe and the house. The sites you took me too. And before you were married the doll you gave me and my sisters from some of your trips. When you helped out your sister my mom watching us. Many good memories.Loved the few times we chatted on line.Have a more direct way to chat with you now!
Now the whole Lahey family are together again.
Thoughts and prayers to your family.

Mrs. Peet was such a strong person in our lives. She was always there for our family in times of need. Her faith and love for God were such an inspiration. So many fond memories of parties, picnics and celebrations growing up. She will be dearly missed.

Although Aunt MC has left the world, her beacon will continue to shine within us. My memories are so many! The trips to the loop on the "L", sharing a bed with her when we would come to visit Gram and Boom and how annoyed she would get with me because I had this habit of hooking my leg over her hip, being on the front porch when Uncle George arrived from D.C. to see his girl. How they both "lit up"! There wedding day and the party at Aunt Betty and Uncle Bob's in Maywood on the following day. Visiting us when Ellen and Joe were little and she watched me feed Ellen, who was in the same highchair her mother sat in, with a smile of love and pride on her face. In later years, it has struck me how much she reminds me of my mother but, even more so of Gram! Mostly I will remember ow great was her faith and love of God! A wonderful woman and how you will be missed.
