Maryann Dolan Obituary

Maryann Dolan, beloved mother and grandmother, died peacefully on July 21, 2024. She was surrounded by family in her home in Asbury Methodist Village.

Mike & I first met Bob and Maryann on our honeymoon in the US in 1982. The welcome extended to us was so warm and kind that it was the beginning of a very valuable relationship in our lives. We have had many extended conversations with Maryann over the years and her advice was always welcome and vaued.

Maryann took great delight in meeting our young crew in Vancouver and then again in Washington.
We had great memories of Maryann on her visits to Ireland subsequently and she was always so inspiring and interested in both Mike and I, our children and the rest of the Dolan clan. We remained in contact over the years and were delighted to have had the opportunity to speak to her by phone less that four weeks ago.

We were very sad indeed to hear yesterday that Maryann has passed. We will remember her always as an inspirational woman who always offered kindness and guidance. We will pray for Maryann over the coming days and weeks and may she now rest in peace.

Maryellen, Allison, Ryan, Dennis and family,

Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother. She was a strong, wonderful and engaging woman and I can hear her fantastic happy laugh as I write this note. I feel very lucky to have had the chance to reconnect with her last year when we visited in Maryland. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time and have made a donation to the St. Francis Breadline in her memory.

With much aloha,

Phil Li and Frank Belen
