On May 5, 2003 of Burtonsville, MD. Beloved husband of Elvirita Gildea; father of Derek and Karena Gildea; brother of Patricia, R. James (Sonia), Donna and William (Arlene). Also survived by nephews and nieces. Friends may call at HINES RINALDI FUNERAL HOME, 11800 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, MD on Wednesday and Thursday, May 7 and 8. Services will be held on Friday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at the Resurrection Catholic Church, 3315 Greencastle Rd., Burtonsville, MD 20866. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Dear Elvi and children,
Matt and I were classmates at the graduate school of library science. Elvi, I'm very sorry to hear Matt had died. I got the news from Warren and Dodie. Please be assured of my prayers for the repose of Matt's soul, and I pray that God and His Blessed Mother give you and the children their love and consolation in this difficult time of your life.
