On January 1, 2015. The beloved wife of Lacy Wall. She is also survived by daughter, Verna Fields; granddaughters, Sharon Hardy and Kimberly Short; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 8. Viewing 10 a.m. until time of funeral service, 11 a.m. at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 1625 Thirteenth St. NW Washington, DC 20009. Interment Staton Memorial, Scotland Neck, NC. Arrangements by POPE.

My deepest sympathy to Mr. Lacy Wall and family for your loss. Mrs. Little Girl will be truly missed, my family always laugh how proper your name rolled of my tongue. You always called me to check on us after my grandma Ruby and mother died and I thank you for that. I can agree with other posts, you gave words of encouragement and always wisdom words that will be with me for life. God called home a good women, rest in peace until we all meet again. Aunt Lily Girl! Always had a positive word for us and supported us in whatever we did...we will TRULY miss you, however, we know that you are dancing with your other brothers and sister...so glad to know you were saved--we will see you again!
