Death casts a frightening shadow over us because we are entirely helpless in its presence. we can struggle with other enemies-pain, suffering, disease, injury-but strength and courage cannot overcome death. It has the final word. Only one person can walk with us through death's dark valley and bring us to the other side-the God of life, our shepherd. Because life is uncertain, we should follow this shepherd who offers us eternal comfort. May God grant you all the strength you need. With Deep Sympathy, The Lash Family

Condolences to the family upon the loss of your beloved Melvin.
I met Melvin many years ago at Pier 7 located in SW with his buddy, John. He always told me we must be related because we had similar noses. Always the gentleman is the way that I remember him.
Peace and Blessings,

God's Garden
God looked around his garden an
And found an empty space
He then looked down upon the earth
And saw your tired face
He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best
He knew that you were suffering
He knew that you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again
He saw the road was getting rough
And the hills were hard to climb
He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered “peace be thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.

Rest in peace! Family, in this time of sorrow may God's loving embrace give you comfort.
