MERLE COOPER Obituary
Merle Jones Cooper February 2, 1934 - June 30, 2018
Merle passed peacefully in her sleep into the beloved arms of Jesus after suffering from Alzheimer's. She is survived by her husband Gary Cooper; daughters Cindy Stambaugh and husband Karl, Sharon Chartos and husband Bobby, Carol Jones; and step-daughter Susan LaDue and husband Gary; her brother Charlie White and wife Ellen. Family will receive friends on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rt 3 South), Bowie, MD where a funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flower, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Research, BrightFocus, 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, Maryland 20871. You're in my thoughts prayers. Merle gave so much and changed people's lives. She certainly shaped mine. I will always be grateful for all she did and what a good role model she was for me to look up to. I have wonderful childhood memories of majorettes, parades and all of you.
