Michael Cove Citrenbaum  
Michael Cove Citrenbaum (Age 25), of Silver Spring, MD passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Michael was a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at ASRC Federal for three years supporting the 2020 Decennial Census. He graduated from Penn State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography and earned a Master's Certificate in GIS from PSU in 2020.  Michael was a person with many talents. He was a gifted and competitive athlete. Among his favorite pastimes, he loved soccer, golfing and passionately followed Penn State football and English Premier League soccer. He loved to attend the "White Out" games at Penn State. From an early age, he loved geography, had a keen sense for data, and loved playing on teams. He could number-crunch with the best of them. He loved his pets, family vacations and gatherings. Intensely loyal, kind, smart, funny and caring, he always looked out for the underdog because he was so empathetic and understanding; offering a shoulder to lean on or ear to listen for all who needed it.  Michael is survived by his loving parents, Dan and Judi; his sister, Sarah, and his twin brother, Bryan. He had a large and loving extended family and many loving friends.  A graveside service will be held at Parklawn Cemetery in Rockville, 12800 Veirs Mill Rd., Rockville, MD 20853 on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 1 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
