Dear Anne:
I saw that Mike had died in the message sent out by the Order of Malta of which I am also a member. You may not recall me but I got to know Mike and worked with him at Satra and kept in touch for a time but then lost contact as our careers took their respective courses. I always appreciated Mike for his humor, warmth and consideration and , of course, his professional competence. We shared a number of common interests and experiences including the Peace Corps and a professional life-long commitment to international affairs. In my case in law, diplomacy, business and academics. My wife Anne and I extend to you and your family our deep sympathy. We reside now in Lancaster PA but come in and out of DC regularly where we also lived and where our daughter currently lives. FYI my email is [email protected]

Hi Anne. Sorry to hear that Mike is no longer with us. We worked together at Bechtel's DC office and traveled to Curacao to convince the government to let Bechtel refurbish its airport. We were successful. Art Pilzer
