Susan and I remember Mike from our days at NASA. He was a great colleague and teriffic friend. Our paths diverged but I will always remember him, and you Nancy. I still think back to your wedding and am glad that you were able to enjoy each other's company for so many years.

I was very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. He and I started our careers together back in the 1980's. He was much loved and appreciated by his friends and colleagues at NASA. I used to have lunch with him at the new NOAA building up until his retirement. I will miss him.

Mike was indeed a wonderful human being. Aside from being an amazing colleague and friend, he was warm, caring, and had so many interesting stories and experiences and was a genuine pleasure to speak with at any time. He had the rare ability to dampen the noise and chaos around us and keep things calm and manageable. He made our lives richer and better in so many ways - including as an always willing ally and co-conspirator in our ongoing and frequently comical bureaucratic battles :) - and I feel very fortunate for having known him. Likewise all who knew him at NOAA will miss him dearly. My sincere condolences to his entire family for your loss - you have our deepest sympathies.

Judy and I were shocked to hear of Michael's death. Our hearts go out to you and your daughters. I will always remember Mike as a sweet, sensitive, caring cousin, a person of great integrity and proud of his Jewish heritage. I am happy that I had an opportunity to spend time with Mike at Amatzia's wedding in Brooklyn. May you only have wonderful memories that will be with you forever, and may the goals and values that he exemplified be reflected in the lives of your children and grandchildren.
