MICHAEL HEDRICK Obituary
Michael Keith Hedrick Cdr., U.S. Navy (Ret.)
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2017 (age 67) with his family by his side, after a long battle with dementia. He joins his parents, Gordon and Thelma; brother, David; and sister, Robin in eternal and peaceful rest. Mike is survived by his beloved bride Denise; children, Michael (Nicole), Lauren (Chris), and Matthew (Andrea); sisters, Erin and Tricia; and grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Michael. Interment and services to be scheduled at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements by Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home www.fairfaxmemorialfuneralhome.com

Mike, I met you in 1956 in a USN base in CA and again in 1971 while you were traveling through Portland OR. You were such a handsome and simply lovely person. I was always proud to call you cousin. I dearly loved your sweet and charming folks and I remember Robin as well. May you continue to be held in our creator's arms for surely Heaven is more blessed with you as a resident. Much love to your family.

I wanted to express my sympathy to Denise and her family with Mike's passing. He was such an officer and a gentleman to all he met. He showed great kindness and compassion to my mother and I. Mike carried himself with great pride and was always well dressed. I will really miss Mike and send my prayers and thoughts to his family during this difficult time.

Mike, Denise and family have been lifelong friends. Mike was a true gentleman and extremely generous to all who knew him. He leaves a personal and professional legacy for others to follow and look up to.
A great man who would give you the shirt off his back and always took time to comfort those in need. He will be greatly missed but is now at peace. Our prayers and condolences to Denise, Michael, Lauren and Matt.
