MICHAEL LLOYD KUSHNER
On Monday, February 4, 2013 MICHAEL LLOYD KUSHNER of Detroit, MI and Columbia, MD. Beloved husband of Phyllis Kushner; devoted father of Amy Beth (David) Mandelbaum and Aaron Jacob (Rachel Atyeo) Kushner; cherished grandfather of Julia and Sam Mandelbaum and Tobias Kushner; loving brother of Barry Kushner. Also survived by his aunt, Rose Schwartz and cousins, Richard Felch andDeborah Buglisi. Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at The Meeting House, 5885 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia, MD 21045, where family will observe Shiva immediately following Service. Minyans Thursday and Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. at the family home. Memorial contributions may be made to CJC Tzeddakah Fund or the Maryland Heart Association. Arrangements by Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Inc. under Jewish Funeral Practices Committee of Greater Washington Contract.

I was saddened to hear of Mike's Passing. I had seen him a couple of times in the past year or two in Michigan and he always had a smile on his face and a good joke to tell us. He will always be remembered as a bright spot in my life.

Kushner family: Was a sad week dealing and coping with Mike's untimely passing. He was a wonderful, unique person, I will miss him very much and I'm grateful to have known him, even if it was just for a short time.

To Phyllis, children, and grandchildren. Hard to comprehend Mikes passing, the wonderful humor, great smile, and sense of life's value. We will have all of you in our thoughts and prayers. It seems like just yesterday when he played at our wedding only 45 years ago. Of the fun we had together as Paul and Richards cousin before that. May he always be in our hearts.
