Michael McGuinness Obituary

Michael Joseph McGuinness, Jr. of Fairfax Station, Virginia passed away at home surrounded by family on February 6, 2024 after being diagnosed with cancer in 2018. Michael was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 2, 1954. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Denise, daughters Colleen (Huy) of Los Angeles, CA, Mary Megan of Alexandria, VA and Anne (Stephen) of Charleston, SC., his sister Susan, numerous nieces and nephews and many life long friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Liz and brother Mark. Family and friends will gather for a Mass of the Resurrection on Monday, February 26 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Bascilica, 310 S. Royal Street, Alexandria, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Denise so sorry to just today Dec 15 find out about Michael“s passing. He knew both of us from La Mancha so long time friends.
I wanted to tell him that my sweet angel of 48 years together passed away last Wed Dec 11. Did not survive a heart procedure. Would love to chat with you. He was a dear friend and Koko and I spoke often of him.
