Michael Morrow Obituary

Michael Alton Morrow, a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully at his home in Upper Marlboro on April 11, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on December 19, 1951, in Statesville, North Carolina, Michael's early life was characterized by warmth and hope, setting the stage for a remarkable journey that would span many years.
After dedicating 39 years to Coca Cola Enterprises, Michael earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike, exemplifying the steadfastness and commitment required in his profession. His illustrious career not only reflected his strong work ethic but also the integrity and character that he brought into every endeavor.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah Renee Morrow, whose love and partnership enriched his life tremendously. Their union blossomed with the arrival of their son, Brent Michael Morrow of Upper Marlboro, MD, who continues to carry forward his father's legacy alongside his beloved partner, Victoria Goodwin.
Family was paramount to Michael, and he cherished the time spent with those who called him brother and uncle. He leaves behind his dear brother, Philip Morrow (Lynn) of Raleigh, NC, sister-in-law Janet Grove Doyle (Peter) of Easton, MD, stepbrothers David Ernest of Forest, VA, Stephen Ernest (Kathy) of Owings, MD and Mark Ernest (Annie) of Tracy's Landing, MD, as well as his cherished nieces and nephews— Christa Morrow, Gregory Grove, Jeffrey Grove, David Ernest, Jr., Stephanie Ernest, Brian Ernest, Brandon Ernest, Bradley Ernest, Mark Ernest, Jr., Sean Ernest and Vincent Ernest.
Preceded in death by his father, Dupree Morrow, and his mother, Farry Morrow Ernest and stepfather William Ernest, Michael's life story is one of love, resilience, and unwavering support for his family. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, unwavering resolve, and the gentle laughter that could light up any room.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Michael's life during a visitation on April 22, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Lee Funeral Home Inc., 6633 Old Alexandria Ferry Road, Clinton, Maryland. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 11 a.m., culminating in a burial ceremony at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman Beantown Rd., Waldorf, Maryland at 1 p.m.
As we gather to honor Michael's distinguished life, let us remember the profound impact he made on our hearts and lives. His legacy, borne through the stories shared and the love cultivated, will continue to reverberate through all who knew him.

Remembering all the summers Mike and Phillip would visit Grandpa York's.
Was always excited to see them.
Mike loved the country ham and Phillip the fresh cukes out of the garden.
You will be missed !

I grew up next door to Michael during the 1950s and 1960s in Suitland, Maryland. He was a fun-loving person and a good friend. Michael will truly be missed in a world that needs even more people like him.
