I´m saddened to learn of Mr. Musto´s passing. I thought of a conversation Mr. Musto and I had 20 years ago, while I was in 7th grade. His words "don´t you want to go to college and have a chance at a better life" were forever engrained in my mind as I worked towards changing course from there on. His determination to see his students succeed was such a game changer, especially for underserved students like me. I did it, and I´m forever thankful for his encouragement!

I worked for Mike Musto at the Joint Economic Committee as a young and inexperienced college graduate. To this day, I remember Mike as one of the kindest people I have ever met.

I am so sorry to learn about Mike's passing. Mike was my boss at the Joint Economic Committee, and gave me my start on Capitol Hill. He was such a nice man, a great boss, and was so dedicated to his family. I have very fond memories of Mike, his passion, friendliness and loyalty.

One of my favorite teachers at APS. Made me love history. Challenged my mind and perceptions of American history. Influenced my decision to study International Relations in college and my career now. My friends and I still talk about how much we loved his class and how we still have such fond memories of it 13 years later.
