Not sure what to say?

I´m saddened to learn of Mr. Musto´s passing. I thought of a conversation Mr. Musto and I had 20 years ago, while I was in 7th grade. His words "don´t you want to go to college and have a chance at a better life" were forever engrained in my mind as I worked towards changing course from there on. His determination to see his students succeed was such a game changer, especially for underserved students like me. I did it, and I´m forever thankful for his encouragement!

I worked for Mike Musto at the Joint Economic Committee as a young and inexperienced college graduate. To this day, I remember Mike as one of the kindest people I have ever met.

I am so sorry to learn about Mike's passing. Mike was my boss at the Joint Economic Committee, and gave me my start on Capitol Hill. He was such a nice man, a great boss, and was so dedicated to his family. I have very fond memories of Mike, his passion, friendliness and loyalty.

One of my favorite teachers at APS. Made me love history. Challenged my mind and perceptions of American history. Influenced my decision to study International Relations in college and my career now. My friends and I still talk about how much we loved his class and how we still have such fond memories of it 13 years later.

He was one of my favorite teachers. He was always interactive when he taught us about history.

I enjoyed working with Mike. A donation in his memory has been made to Randolph PTA.

Laurine,
We can't begin to express in words the sorrow we feel in our hearts for the loss of our dear friend and your true life partner - Mike. Since moving to Arlington you and Mike have been so much a part of our family and the loss of Mike will live in our hearts forever. Mike was a true friend to all. To Sally and I and to our children Bobby, Katy , and so much so for David. We will miss him.

Laurine and family, our hearts and souls are better from having had Mike as a friend. The Arlingtonians will never be the same without him. Much Love, Jim and Teresa

Laurine, Lisa, Chris and Alexandra, take our deepest condolences and sympathy. We will keep Mike in memory for ever as very, very pleasant man - kind, humorous, proud of his family that he loved.
