Michael Bernard Platt Artist April 24, 1948 ~ January 20, 2019
Platt's gone. Suddenly. Full Moon Sunday morning. Heart... Survivors: wife, Carol Beane, son, Mike, father Brooks, cousin, Sandra and sons, Grandville, Gregory and families, brother-in-law, Glenn. Predeceased by his mother, Olga, aunt Muriel, brother, Roger, step-son, Timothy, in-laws, Everett and Oris Beane. His legacy: a life-time of art to the world. Saturday, January 26, 6 to 9 p.m., American University's Katzen Museum hosts an opening reception of the exhibition, Influences and Connections, Michael's images and Carol's poems. Come celebrate the Imagemaker!Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Memorial at a later date.
