On Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at his residence in Fairfax Station, VA. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of nearly 30 years, Kathleen Prothero and his father Harold B. Prothero. Mr. Prothero is survived by his loving wife Christine Wroe Prothero. Beloved father of Major Gregory B. Prothero, U.S. Air Force and Captain Alison Prothero Martin, U.S. Army. Devoted grandfather of Jack Prothero, Leo Prothero and Kathleen Martin; loving son of Olivia C. Prothero; father-in-law of Janeth Ann Prothero and Captain Joseph M. Martin, U.S. Army. Visitation and service times to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ALS Association, National Capital Area Chapter, 6155 Frederick Ave., Suite 308, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 or Hospice of NOVA, 9300 Lee Highway, Fifth Floor, Fairfax, VA 22031-1207.
