I would like to express my condolences to this good family. I lived on Judith Street at the corner of Turkey Branch in the early to mid 1960's and was a playmate of Eddie's and attended St. Jude's. I also have a very clear picture of the handsome father in my mind. I wish the wheeler family strength during this time and always.

I am deeply saddened to realize that Michael is no longer with us. A true gentleman with a wealth of knowledge that everyone he knew benefited from knowing him. Smart, intuitive and a genius when it came to a situation at the race track, Michael was on top of it. Whatever Michael did, whether resolving a race car dilemma or taking a photograph, Michael did it with passion. He lived his life with a passion that kindled great friendships everywhere he went. I'm going to miss this great guy and I thank you for giving me an opportunity to know you. Godspeed my friend. You will be missed.

To the Wheeler Family: I am so sorry for the loss of Michael. When I heard of his passing, a flood of memories came back from days long ago (think Peary High School era). Mike was always an energetic person and he had a passion for cars and family. I hope your wonderful memories of Mike will live on forever as he holds a special place in your hearts and minds.
