This year marks 19 years since you went to be with Jesus. I don't believe there has been a day that has gone by where we did not, either in the collective or singly, thought about you. I know you would be proud of your children (and grandchildren). Sleep in Peace my sister in Christ.

Remembering you today and always. It is hard to imagine that this marks 18 years since your passing. You would be proud of children and how much they´ve accomplished. You´d be doting on your grandkids so much. SIP.

Dear Monica,

We miss you, and there is not a day goes by that we do not think of how much you would have enjoyed this, or enjoyed that.

Thank you for your example of faith - we grounded in the truth that we know you are with your Lord and Savior. Continue to sleep in peace.

It took me a while to understand how God could take such a good, thoughtful & loving person from this earth. An angel that touched the lives of so many. And then it occurred to me as I sat in the pew at her funeral. God decided to sacrafice one to save many. How many lives did she touch??? How many lives will change??? How many will come to God for forgiveness??? How many will try and be half as good as she??? I will never forget you Ms.Monica DeVane because you have changed my life forever.

Monica I will surely miss those warm and loving embraces you gave me before each service. In times like these we often wonder why, but I'm learning to seek God and seek what's to be learned from what He allows. And the scripture "O death where is thou sting" rings loud in my spirit as I saw that although we do not like the way in which she was taken, no one can take away the life in which she lived. The Word says we are to seek and save those which are lost and she did this very thing while she lived and even at her Homegoing celebration her mission continues as those she touched were led to the Lord, which is indeed enough to shout about, as the grave no longer has the victory. So I just praise God for allowing Monica to be with us as she has truly touched many lives.

To the family, you will be in my prayers and to her children, your mom's legacy will never die as long as you pick up the torch and go on from where she left off. May God continue to bless and strengthen you all. And to Monica, I shall see you again. Your sister in Christ at Seed Faith.
