Williams, and Lori Anne Williams; one step son, Jan Folkes and his wife, Bridget, three granddaughters, Nicole M. Williams, Lisa J. Locke, and Lauren V. Highsmith; three great grandsons, Marcus A. Roberts, Jordan C. Williams, and Tyler B. Williams; one brother, Van Washington Jr. and his wife, Marion; one sister, Gladys W. Taylor; four sisters-in-law, Beulah Deloch, Emma Deloch, Mary Dawkins and her husband, Gus, and Genevia Wilson, six nephews, seven nieces, a special niece and her family, Frances, Mark, and Adia Smith, and a host of other relatives and friends including Margaret and Eugene Holmes, Warren and Vivian Ulmer, Anna Williams, Thomasina and Melvin Costley, Allen Ward, Evelyn Hampton, Charlotte Jackson, Sharon Bell Mathis, Elizabeth Carroll, Ruth Hayes, Viola Richardson, Danielle Hall and her family deacon Albert Coleman, and best friend, Yusef Chisholm. She was predeceased by her parents, Van Washington Sr. and Ethel Johnson Washington, two sisters, Virgie Lee Bazile and Lillian Washington Copeland, one brother, Alvin Washington Sr.; two nephews, Clifford A. Gross and Woodrow W. Copeland Jr. On Tuesday, February 11, 2003 the family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Fort Foote Baptist Church, 8310 Fort Foote Rd., Ft. Washington, MD. Rev. Joseph W. Lyles officiating. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements by POPE.
