NANCY ANN PECAR (Age 73)
Entered into Eternal Life on Monday, June 10, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife for 53 years of Joseph A. Pecar; mother of Jean Marie Tolbert (Steve), Michelle Rene Davis (Robert), Jacqueline Ann Rommel and Joseph Charles Pecar (Eleanor); sister of Raymond F. Handy (Tricia). Also survived by 11 grandchildren, Stephen, Gregory, Jennifer, Trey, Jay, Nicholas, Helen, Chaz, Duncan, Gil, Lilly and other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at St. Raphael's Church, Falls Road at Dunster Road, Rockville, MD on Monday, June 17, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to St. Raphael's New Educational Building Fund.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Dear Joe,
I still can remember in McCroom Ireland, Nancy saying in that wonderful manner ah Father I guess we'll have to wait till tonight and with that stement the kitchen in the pub came alive and the fresh straberries and whipped cream were served. So many other memories of song and prayer, laughter and joyful conversations. She is now with the Good God up above. I know she's rooting for all us. may she rest in peace, Father David.

We were so sad to hear about Nancy's death at 5:00 Mass on Saturday. She was so faith filled and wonderful to our family all the years we have seen her at church. Brother Joe,
We remember Nancy at all the great times with the family reunions and celebrations. And, we treasure the occasional visits to your homes in Maryland where her hospitality was most gracious.
Since Nancy's serious illness, she has been a shining example for all of us--how to accept and suffer the will of God our Father. Surely she has a special place in Heaven!

My condolences to Joe and Nancy's family. I took care of Nancy's hair whenever Roy was unavailable and always looked forward to spending time with her. It was inspiring to hear the loving and appreciative way in which she spoke of Joe, their children and grandchildren. We shall miss her warm smile and her positive ways on Saturday mornings in the salon.

I miss you Mom... You lived life to the fullest and gave everyone you met a little piece of yourself. Thanks for being a great Mom and role model (even though at times I didn't realize it - Wisdom does come with age)... Right now we are riding the wave of everyone's thoughts and prayers… Missing MY Mom is hard. I will miss our calls and visits. After talking to you everyday for so long, it sure is quiet... it is really strange not being able to pick up the phone and hear you talking about all the "stuff" you are doing...
