On Friday, November 18, 2016, NATHAN BREGMAN of Rockville, MD. Funny philosopher-friend. Beloved husband of the late Stella Husock Bregman. Loving father of Randy Bregman (Patrice), Doug Bregman (Brenda), Lisa Bregman and Abby Bregman (Jim); cherished grandfather of Roman and Artyom, Benjamin (Jessica), Lauren (Dan), and Daniel; dear great-grandfather of Alice Stella. Also survived by many loving family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016, 1:30 p.m. at Congregation Beth El, 8215 Old Georgetown Rd., Bethesda, MD. Interment following at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, MD. Shiva will be observed on Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. with minyan at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Doug and Brenda Bregman in Bethesda, MD, Monday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. with minyan at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Randy Bregman and Patrice Gancie in Washington, DC and Tuesday evening at the home of Benjamin Bregman and Jessica Agus in Bethesda, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Anti-Defamation League or to the Southern Poverty Law Center. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001 (endorsed by The Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington).

Dear Doug, Randy, Lisa and Abby,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of Nate. I work for him at the PHLX 33 years ago and talked to him often since. He was a wise man and he had a mind like a computer. He was always very patient and never got excited. I will miss him. May he rest in peace.

I just heard the news this morning. I am so sorry for your loss...
I thoroughly enjoyed my telephone conversations with Nathan as his accountant. But more impressing on me was that he would ALWAYS ALWAYS sincerely ask me how I was doing and feeling before we talked business.
He is one of the most intelligent men I've ever personally met. I will truly miss working with him...

I am so sorry for your loss. It is always so very hard to lose a loved one in death. God understands your loss and he will listen to your prayer and pay attention to your pleas for help.
