NEIL POTASH Obituary
NEIL CHARLES POTASH
Born June 23, 1940 was sadly taken from this earth on April 15 2012. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He was married to a wonderful wife of 36 years Susan Potash. His spirit lives on in his children: Bettina Dunn and Alison Moorman (John). As well as his granddaughters: Rachel Dunn, Alicia Dunn and Magdaline Moorman. He is also survived by his mother Esther Potash, his brother Michael Potash and his sisters Sharon Weiss and Lynn Linkin and many nieces and nephews. Neil had many hobbies including stamp collecting, gardening, chess, painting and selling and restoring books. He will be missed greatly by all. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to your local public library in honor of Neil's love of reading. The funeral will be at George Washington /Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Adelphi, MD, on Tuesday, April 17 at 11 a.m.

About a month before his passing, Neil urged me to see "The Artist" but it had already left my local theaters. I was searching for a theater within a short driving distance and was looking forward to comparing notes with him.
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your husband and father. The "With Pen in Hand" writing group will miss his pithy comments.
