Nicholas Cirillo Obituary


NICHOLAS B. CIRILLO, M.D. (Age 71)  
Peacefully at his home in Fairfax, Virginia on May 6, 2011, Nicholas B. Cirillo. Beloved husband of Margaret Cirillo, father of Joseph (Elizabeth) Cirillo and Anne (Charles) Kling, adored grandfather of Nicholas and Richard Cirillo, Matthew Duncan and Mallory and Heidi Kling. He is also survived by his four sisters Julie Cirillo, Frances Kennedy, Rosary Eidietis and Madeline Archer.  Nick was born on October 26, 1939 in New York City to Joseph and Anna (Calise) Cirillo. He graduated from Georgetown University in 1961 and Georgetown Medical School in 1965. After a Navy tour on the USS Sanctuary during the Vietnam Conflict, he returned to Fairfax and practiced Internal Medicine until his retirement in 2004.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA 22030 at 1 p.m. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Doctors Without Borders, P.O. Box 5030, Hagerstown, MD 21741.www.fmfh.com
