NOEL R. SMITH  
Noel R. Smith, 63, of Laurel, passed away suddenly on January 5, 2011 at his home. Noel was born in Baltimore, MD on December 23, 1947. Upon holding the positions of Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer, he retired from the Local 67 Teamsters Union of Beverage and Brewery Drivers of Washington, DC. During his earlier days, he served in the Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and at the Westover AFB in Chicopee, MA. He was an avid motorcycle rider and participated in many charity poker runs. He also enjoyed fishing, and vacationing in Myrtle Beach with his family.Noel was a loving Dad, "Pop-Pop", and brother. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Rutlin and Nicole Smith; his sons Aaron Smith, Noel Smith, and Christopher Clark; his grandchildren, Kylie, Zachary, Christopher, Kellan, Sophie, and Tyler; and his sisters, Jineane and Joanne. Noel was preceded in death by a brother, David SmithVisitation will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., 313 Talbott Ave., Laurel, MD on Monday, January 10, from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a memorial service.

Noel, I lost contact with you 17 years ago and you came to me in a dream last night. I searched for you online and learned of your sudden passing. Our common bond was our love of fishing. I have great memories of those times where we could sit in the boat and reflect on just about anything. We will meet again my brother.
