NORINE McGRAW SWAMINATHA
On Thursday, January 2, 2014, NORINE MCGRAW SWAMINATHA (Age 65), resident of Vienna, VA passed away at home. Beloved and devoted wife to Kris Swaminatha; mother to Tara Swaminatha (Robert Kaplan), Sheela Myers (Stephen), Meara DeRose (Paul) and Neala Swaminatha and sister to Regina McGraw; grandmother to Arin and Molly Kaplan, Emily and Mason Myers, and Vinny and Lucy DeRose. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 10 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Vienna VA. The family will host a celebration of Norine's life at Pulcinella Restaurant in McLean on Friday, January 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norine's memory to the American Brain Tumor Association (on Norine's page at www.abta.org, by phone 773-577-8750, or by mail at 8550 Bryn Mawr Ave, Suite 550, Chicago, Illinois, 60631-3225)

Kris, Meara, Neela, Sheela and Tara,
I am so saddened by your wife's/mom's passing. Norine was such a warm and wonderful woman, always smiling, always so proud of her beautiful daughters. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be with you always.
I am so sorry that I wasn't there in person to convey my sympathy to you all. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I just heard about Norine's passing. She and I worked together at the Alzheimer's Association. Norine was a wonderful colleague. My heartfelt sympathies go out to her family.

We were so sorry to hear about her passing, and want you to know she is in our thoughts and prayers, as are the entire Swaminatha family. She was always so sweet when we got to see her at various functions, and I know she was a fantastic mother/wife to all of you.

I met Norinne while she was at Alzheimer's Assn - she was a sharp, beautiful spirit. I loved her direct loving approach. I'm deeply sorry for your loss.
