PATRICIA SCHOFIELD Obituary
PATRICIA FRANKLIN SCHOFIELD (Age 75)
Passed away at her home in Washington, DC on February 23, 2022 following a long illness. She was born on January 4, 1947 in Dawson Springs, Kentucky to Decola Franklin and Brunette Russell. She graduated from Western Kentucky University and later received her doctorate from the University of Maryland. She worked for several years with providing services to handicapped individuals in Kentucky, Georgia and Washington, DC. She accompanied her husband on overseas assignments in the State Department and later worked with the Foreign Service Institute of the United States State Department. She is survived by her husband of 45 years William Schofield; a sister Denell Storms and her husband Edward, along with several nieces. nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held March 9 at 1 p.m. at the Beshear Funeral Home, 201 N. Main Street, Dawson Springs, KY. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery on March 10, 2022. A memorial service will be held in Washington, DC at a later date.
