PATRICK ATTRIDGE Obituary

PATRICK JAMES ATTRIDGE
Of Ashton, Maryland passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9, 2017, after a courageous five-year battle with multiple myeloma. Pat was the beloved husband of Joan Attridge for 37 years; loving father of Brian and daughter-in-law Kaylin Attridge of Richmond, VA, Kevin and daughter-in-law Elise Attridge of Washington, DC, Michael Attridge of Washington, DC, and Sean Attridge of Charlotte, NC, and cherished grandfather of Charlotte and Dalton. He is also survived by parents Patrick and Teresa Attridge, and siblings Daniel Attridge, Maura Hinkle, and Deirdre Graf.  Pat had an affinity for life, especially entertaining friends and family, and being on the water. He enjoyed over 25 years as a successful attorney at the Law Offices of King & Attridge. A memorial service is planned for Monday, April 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20904. In lieu of flowers, his family politely requests that donations be made in Patrick's name to Saint Anselm's Abbey, 4501 South Dakota Avenue N.E., Washington, DC 20017.

In his second letter to Timothy, St. Paul wrote: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." So too for my brother Pat: He fought the good fight, he finished the race, he kept the faith. May he rest in peace.
